Meet Shelley
Hi, I’m Shelley Shelke — a disability awareness and inclusion speaker, facilitator, and storyteller based in Calgary, Alberta.
As someone living with low vision, I help educators, workplaces, healthcare teams, and community organizations better understand disability through lived experience, practical communication, and real-world perspective.
Through honest storytelling, humour, and interactive learning, I create engaging sessions that move beyond stereotypes and help people feel more confident, thoughtful, and connected in how they support and communicate with others.
My goal is simple: to help people see disability through another lens — one rooted in perspective, understanding, and meaningful human connection.

Also on YouTube — Joyfully Made
Alongside speaking and presentations, Shelley shares story-driven conversations, reflections, interviews, and encouragement through Joyfully Made on YouTube.
Through honest storytelling and lived experience, Shelley explores themes of perspective, resilience, faith, identity, healing, and what it means to navigate life with hope and humanity.
Whether through personal reflections or meaningful conversations, the heart behind Joyfully Made remains the same: helping people see themselves, others, and the world through another lens.
